The Perfect Gulf of Mexico Condo
This condo faces the most interesting scenes on the Island. Because of the trees and small overflow pond, many birds are attracted to this area. The beach and pool are great. We saw dolphins close to shore many times. Our favorite place was the balcony for coffee hour & late afternoon views. We noted that we were in the shade most of the day here as we experienced temperatures in the 90's our entire 4 weeks. It was also good for viewing the watercraft and jets beginning their descent, & for taking photos of sunrises, sunsets, & full moon over the water. The entire property is clean & well manicured and the laundry facilities were adequate. We were impressed. The condo was easy to live in. Everything we needed was there. The bed slept great & everything worked. It is tastefully furnished as pictured. The TV's work good and the dividing curtain muted sound from the other side. We had a private tour of The Mound House, enjoyed Edison lab, & excellent shopping in easy to get-to Bonita Springs. We enjoyed Mucky Duck restaurant at the end of Captiva Island & Chinese Buffet on 41, but Rib City was our favorite. We worshiped at Beach United Methodist Church & were warmly received. We were overwhelmed at the huge Public Library and it's classroom-sized elevator & able to check out some good reading. This was a perfect place to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary. We had a few medical problems but were well taken care of by a small near-by clinic & some Doctors in Bonita Springs. The staff at Publix were more than helpful, and we noted all on the Island to be very friendly. We even found a new friend from our hometown of Owosso, Michigan.
